The conference Social Program consists of the Conference Dinner and the Conference Tour.

Conference Tour

The Conference Tour consists of a tuk-tuk ride on Saturday 16 through one of the most emblematic areas of Lisbon. Each tuk-tuk accommodates up to five participants. The drivers are certified professionals and will also serve as local guides, providing informative commentary about Lisbon throughout the tour.

The tour will begin at Praça dos Restauradores, near the Hard Rock Café (coordinates: 38.71672165700794, -9.141764699184536) at 15:00 and will end at Praça dos Restauradores at 17:00.  

Maria de Jesus Bacalhau, from the ABREU travel agency will be there to welcome you.

Directions to the meeting point: from the conference venue, you can take the metro

•  green line at Campo Grande, direction to Cais do Sodré, switch to the blue line at Baixa-Chiado, direction to Reboleira and alight at Restauradores
• yellow line at Cidade Universitária, direction to Rato, switch to the blue line at Marquês do Pombal, direction to Santa Apolónia and alight at Restauradores

Conference Dinner

The conference dinner will take place on Friday 15 at 19:30, at Restaurant Zambeze, located in Lisbon’s iconic downtown area near São Jorge Castle.

Should you arrive by metro, please
take the Green line towards Cais do Sodré. Alight at Rossio station, and take the exit leading to
Praça da Figueira. From there, using the statue of King João I facing Rua da Prata as a reference, please take the fourth street on your left, Rua da Madalena. Walk up Rua da Madalena to Largo Adelino Amaro da Costa, then continue to your left towards Largo Chão do Loureiro. From there, enter the Pingo Doce supermarket and take the elevator at the back (alternatively, you can use the outdoor stairs) up to the restaurant terrace, where the welcome drink will be served.
